Soft edges, silver light

Camille Corot

Pictures where the light does most of the work. Hagar in the wilderness, travellers in a landscape, a woman reading, a letter half written. Feathery trees and a grey green hush over everything.

As a puzzle

The softest pictures here, and that makes them the slowest. Corot dissolves his edges, so the foliage is a great deal of very similar green. Go low on the count and enjoy taking your time.

A good size here: 50–150 pieces.
